Bags for F1 Series Speakers

Anyone get any covers yet???

There’s someone selling some on eBay, but I think they are more just light dust covers.

I’m waiting for the official bags, but those undercover ones look pretty cool actually

Thank you to GarySJones

Joe,
Yes, both bags (F1 Model 812 and F1 Sub) have side panel pockets with velcro for cables/cords.

Thanks Kyle…will the official bags have pockets for cords?

Hey Everybody,

The bags should be available mid-late October. In the meantime we’ve got pictures of the bags.

Pictures of the F1 Bags

I put these in a separate thread so they would be easy to find.

Enjoy!

Warning to mobile users or anyone on a metered connection - the pictures are large.

My F1 boxes are doing the trick but will need bags soon… Any more definitive date on the sale of bags. The Bose website mentions bags as an accessory but there’s still nothing there. Can we preorder? Do we know the approximate price point?

Any Official updates?

I don’t have any Gigs that I need these for til the beginning of Novemeber, but want to make sure I have a backup plan just in case these bags are not ready/

Hi Folks,

I’m hoping that we’ll have an update within the next day or two.

Well at least they’re listed on the site but the description isn’t right…And…there’s no way to order them…

Hi GarySjones,

Thanks - I’ll pass that along.

Hi GarySjones,

Bose has fixed the web page. I’m still waiting for an update on the F1 Travel Bags.

ST, I saw that (as you can imagine I’m waiting with baited breath). Thanks for staying on top of this and I’ll be ordering the day they’re released as my boxes are getting a tad beat up. Any idea on price?
Thanks, Gary

any news on if these covers are for sale yet?

Here is an update on accessory availability for the Bose F1 Model 812 and F1 subwoofer.

Travel Bags - We understand that early adopters of the F1 system want to protect their investment and look to Bose for a quality protective covering solution. We initially expected F1 travel bags to be available in October. However, after initial field testing we found that some improvements were required to make the travel bags right. This drove the development of additional prototypes for our review. (Side note: some of you following my church concert with the F1s a month ago probably saw some of those prototypes in-use.) I’m glad to say that the final approved bag design is of the quality we were targeting, however the development caused a delay in production and shipping. We’re not happy about communicating such a late date, but please know that we always opt for quality on the behalf of our customers. We apologize for the delay and are doing everything we can at this time to improve the availability situation. We will report again if these dates change:

- Bose F1 Model 812 Travel Bag: Available late January 2016
- Bose F1 Subwoofer Travel Bag: Available late January 2016

Travel Bag cost: $139 (US Retail, each)

Mounting Hardware - Mounting hardware is available and can be arranged through authorized Bose Professional dealer channels¹ :

- Pan-and-Tilt Bracket (PC 738453-0110): Available today
- Yoke Mounting Kit (PC 736451-0110): Available starting week of 11/30/15
- U-Bracket Mounting Kit (PC 736453-0110): Available starting week of 11/30/15

Thanks Kyle… Not happy at all about the date but it is what it is. We do appreciate you keeping us in the inside loop. My boxes are showing wear but we are coming to the end of the wedding season in the Northeast and will just have to hold on… Thanks again! Gary

Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Looks like I am going to get these for now.

Hi Kyle,

Thanks for the update Kyle. I appreciate the knowing what’s happening and how we got here.

I’m doing okay with moving blankets for now so I don’t mind waiting for a quality product.

For those who can’t wait for the Bose slip covers Thomann from Germany makes a very solid bag and at about $60 shipped to the US. Here is the link: http://www.thomann.de/gb/thoma…ose_f1_subwoofer.htm

For now, I purchased bags for my F! 812’s and Subs on Ebay called tukiampcovers. They have cutouts for handles but no pockets for cables. (I put mines in the top recessed handles)

The Bose F1 Travel bags are available for order now.
