Hi SEPro,
Exactly which model of Behringer mixer do you have? Please provide a link to the manual.
Shot in the dark…
Were you using the
ALT 3-4 OUTPUTS
or
AUX SENDS outputs
or
TAPE OUTPUT?
Did you wire things the same way as usual last night?
Are you using xlr cords…if Di that is probably your problem.
Switch to 1/4"…I had the same problem with my mixer…if your using xlr the signal is too hot
I was using from my computer to tape input on the mixer (RCA). And then from the mixer to my Bose 1/4. First I was sending stereo and got horrible humming. Then I switched to mono from the mixer to Bose 1/4 and that seemed to work fine. But all of the sliders on the mixer were set at 0. I also get bad feedback on my mics. I will post that question later though.
Hi SEPro,
I’d like to help - but more information would cut down on the guess work.
The mixer
Please give us a link to the manual for your mixer.
What output were you using from the mixer to the L1®.
The L1®
What input were you using on the L1®?
Cable(s)
What cables were you using between them.
Thanks.
I’ve had a similar issue with my behringer mixer and never figured out what the problem was so I switched back to my old mixer and no hum or noise. Mine was the behringer eurorack rx1202fx stereo mixer. If you figuyre it out let me know please, might help my problem too
Hi SEP pro
Note you are feeding the tape input on your mixer, think you should try a ‘line input’ instead. Tape inputs can vary from mixer to mixer, line input is more likely to be of a ‘standard’ and solves most problems of this nature.
