hi, as I had a red light on my bose L1 model 2 power stand tonight my retailer gave me a lend of a model 1s power stand and all I gt was my two bass bins but no other speakers was it the wrong power unit

I am sorry to hear that you had a problem with your L1® Model II.
Yes, the L1® Model 1S was the "wrong power unit".
The L1® Model 1S power stand is not compatible with the Cylindrical Radiator® for the L1® Model II. They are physically similar but the internal wiring is different.
I hope that your retailer can lend you a power stand for an L1® Model II, or a complete L1® Model 1S.
