I have a L1M2 with the T1 and 2 B1 subs. Works great for me and the wife. However, I was asked to support a coffee shop venue and said “sure, would love to show off my system”. Then I got the details only to find out that one of ensembles will consist of a Bass guitar, an electric hollow body, and acoustic guitar and two vocalist. Do you think I will have any problems using the system with only the T1 as a mixer? I was thinking about putting the bass and electric guitars in channel 4/5, the acoustic in 3 and the vocals in 1 and 2. What do you think? Thanks all…
Hi there !
Assuming your two mics are the same models (eg. two Shure SM58’s), could you not plug both of them into channels 4/5 ? That would leave 3 combo input channels (Ch 1,2,3) for the two guitars and bass to have full control over preset selection for optimum sound.
Ideally though, each mic would be best with XLR to balanced jack leads.
Both mics would be set with the same mic preset (good !) but they would be at the same volume though. Surely, that wouldn’t be a problem unless one singer had a less powerful voice. The stronger singer could sing a bit further from his/her mic ?
This solution would STILL leave you with the Aux input too !
