Digital or analog connection T1 to Compact?

Fellow users,
I’m planning to get a compact as an even faster set up alternative to our L1 II. But, how is the T1 connected to the Compact? Ie, do I need an AC-adapter for the T1?

The connection from the T1® to the Compact is analog. You will need a T1 ToneMatch® Audio Engine power supply.
