How to assign input 5 and 6 to aux sends on t4s

I see how to assign channels 1 thru 4 to the aux 1 or 2 sends, but is there a way to also assign the 5 or 6 inputs to specific aux 1 or 2 sends as well?

Hi Joey,

Thank you for joining the Bose Portable PA Community.  Welcome.

I'm sorry, no.

Inputs 5 and 6 are auxiliary inputs that are routed directly to the main outputs. The only options are pan and level.
Reference: T4S Aux Inputs

What are you connecting to the aux inputs?

Also - please check that your firmware is up to date.

I was hoping to use one of the aux sends to go to a house overhead system at one of my gig venues for both my performance and for break music that comes from my iPad; this would be in addition to the L1 behind me via digital connection.  the iPad is currently going into the 5/6 inputs, so the aux sends to the house overhead apparently won't include it.

I'm thinking now that I should send the mains to the overhead, and continue to send the digital out to the L1.

Since the iPad is set to mono, is it possible to plug the house over head into only one side of the main out (left or right)? -Joey

Hi Joey,

Yes, With the iPad set to mono you can use

  • The ToneMatch port connection to the L1
  • The Right or Left Analog output for the house system
    • As long as you pan all the inputs to center, you can use Left or Right outputs.
