Indenfying a Brand type of Home theatre Unit who could be combined with A pair of BOSE L1 and 1 Powered subwoofer

Hello, We are looking to hook up a pair of BOSE L1 and 1 Powered subwoofer to basic home theatre system .  will this work with any type of off the shelf home theatre system units or do you need a specific Unit who can deal with Speaker units who are self Amplified, in this case BOSE L1 and JBL powered 600W subwoofer.  Thanks for your assistance.  Olivier

Thank you for joining the Community.

I have connected my two L1® Model IIs to a home stereo. This should work with any home stereo that has analog outputs. These will probably look like this.

Typically, these outputs are not controlled by the volume control on the home stereo. You will have to control the volume with the L1®s.

If you get a home stereo with a headphone output, you may be able to use that. Not all home stereos have one though.

Before getting into more detail, we need to know more about your L1®s.

  • What model L1®s do you have?
  • Do you have T1 Tonematch audio engines to go with the L1®s?
