Hi guys at Bose.
Why not developing a T1 update in order to allow connection via USB the Ipod Touch? It would be great to have the 4/5 channel free for something else. Please consider this suggestion, this would be very helpful for a lot of T1 users.
Thanks
I’ve thought this same thing. Does anyone know if the Camera Connection kit that Apple sells will work for this?
Connection would be > lightning to USB cable (Apple Camera Connection Kit) to USB A/B cable to Tonematch USB Port. Does this connection config work to stream music off an iphone 6 directly to the Tonematch? Would save me lugging around a laptop and would keep channels 4/5 on the Tonematch open.
Running line audio in from my iphone through my mixer (through the line jack on the L1M2 base) often cuts parts of songs with extreme panning (The Beatles, Van Morrison, other random songs). I know this is due to running out of either L or R on the board… and actually this works great for most songs. But sometimes a guitar part is missing, or vocal harmonies/melodies are gone…
So in summary, I’d like to stream digital audio from my iPhone through the USB jack on the Tonematch - is this possible?
Hi dnallred,
Thank you for joining the Forum.
We haven’t had any confirmation that the Camera Connection Kit will work. I keep hoping that this will change with different models of Apple products but so far, no joy.
See below…

You can set the iPhone to mono, and that should solve the missing channel problem.
Launch the Settings app
Go to General
> Accessibility.
Switch Mono Audio to the On position.
Does that help?

Back to the USB question - Apple doesn’t support USB Audio through the Camera Connection Kit.

Apple supports using the iPad Camera Connection kit or Lightning to USB Camera Adapter with cameras.

Thanks very much for the mono settings on the iPhone tip! I’ll give that a shot and it’ll probably suffice for as much as I use this config (couple times a month). I was about to buy that CCK on Amazon - thanks for saving me $30!
BTW - Been reading this forum for months so I feel like I’ve been a member for a while! Absolutely loving my L1M2 w/ B2!
Hi dnallred,
Be sure to check out that mono setting before you need it just to make sure it does the trick.
Here’s a link to a tutorial on how to do it.

ST -Just wanted to follow up about the mono setting on the iphone. Works like a charm! (Never doubted you). One can simply toggle mid-song to hear the difference. Real helpful tip - thanks again for that!
Hi dnallred,
That’s great news.
Thanks for coming back to tell us how things worked out.
