L1 and extra subwoofer

Hi,
I have a L1 model 1, with a B1 and a T1.
How could I add an extra subwoofer to enhance bass sounds ?

Thanks for your help
Phu

Hello Phu,

Your L1® will support two B1s. That is, you can add a second B1 and this should give you up to 6 dB SPL.

Definitely something to consider.

Please tell us more about your music. Maybe we can make some more suggestions.

Hello ST,
Does the addition of the extra B1 change the quality of the sound thus requiring different EQing when the second bin is added, or does it just increase the volume output? Thanks.
Ciao,
Jerry

Hi Jerry T.

You should not need to change the EQ when you add a second B1. You should find that you can turn up the overall volume to a higher level and be able to maintain the overall tonal balance. That is, you should have more low end available as you raise the volume, but that the sound you get at lower levels is very similar with one B1 or two.

The Power Stand detects whether you have one B1 attached, or two - and it automatically adjusts the low end output to deliver the same tonal balance either way.

So what do you get for your money? More headroom. That is, the ability to turn up the volume or deliver a transient peak and have more low end available to meet the need.
