yay!!!
Thank you
Just information: - Testing.
I’ve just run through the whole update process twice (including rolling back to previous versions and then updating again).
It all worked fine.
ST,
I’m missing something. This updater launches a terminal window that then launches the app. Is this what it does for you? The previous versions have been regular packages that launch the app directly.
Hi Tom,
I did notice the terminal window, but I wasn’t concerned by it. The application launched and ran fine for me. When I closed the application, the terminal window remained open so I closed that too.
Did it work for you?
PS. Now that I’ve had a little more time to actually look at the program and the way it runs… Well,I’m going to pass this feedback back to the developers.
It works, but it doesn’t seem to have the polish that most apps have with all the extra stuff in the download folder and the terminal launching.
Hi All,
We are working on trying to better understand the issue. I’ll reply back as soon as I know more.
Craig
Hi All,
Problem solved. The issue was created after the .zip file was made on PC. The software was fine. A new download will be available soon. Sorry for the inconvienence.
Craig
The new version of the file is online now at the same link noted in post above
L1® Model II Power Stand Firmware Updates
Just tried the link and file. Everything is working just dandy!
I finally got around to updating my Model II’s. Strange thing is that the updater app still shows PS II Firmware as 1.3 after the update. Anyone else see this?
I tried it on my PC first and got the 1.3. I’m trying it on the Mac now.
Mac install ends up with 1.3 showing as well. I’ll try another powerstand.
Other powerstand never got updated to 1.3. It shows 1.1. Still shows 1.1 after update. Ugh. EQ update said it already had the version installed.
Power cycling the Model II shows the correct version. Problem solved!
Hello, I tried to update my L1 model 2 to version 1.4 (dated aug 16 2012), however, I end up using the pdf procedure file that comes with the .bos files. I noticed that the updates for the firmware and the EQ went pretty quick maybe less than a minute. After turning off and on both T1 and the power stand, when i go to prefs->power stand-> it shows “Not Connected”. I am thinking that something got erased. Is there a way to restore this to the previous state? I have another L1 MII that I successfully upgraded to 1.4 using the above steps. Also the L1 updater is not able to see the PS II. Please advice…
Hi Church Band,
I don’t think that there is anything that can be done online.
