Modding the F1 Subwoofer

This is my Bose mobile system I currently use for karaoke and DJ services.

My system includes:

  • 2 x Bose MA12 Line Array 300 Watt speakers.
  • Bose F1 Subwoofer
  • Bose T4S ToneMatch Mixer
  • 1 x Packlite A1 Power amp (Used to power the MA12's)
  • DBX GoRack (Used for EQ and Auto Mic feedback control)

My question is about modding the F1 sub to power both the MA12's and Subwoofers.

Can this be done? or maybe in future will bose add a couple of Speakon outputs to the F1 subwoofer to also provide power to (unpowered) main speakers?

I'm just looking to "Lighten the load"

Hi Vinnie,

Thanks for the interesting question. 

The F1 Subwoofer has amplification and EQ for use as a subwoofer. It does not have extra amplifiers to drive passive loudspeakers like your Panaray MA12 units.
