Hey everyone, thinking about getting some moving heads - does anyone use them??? Also have you seen the new Chauvet Intimidator Spot Duo - I’m thinking two of these would be great. You can check them out on Youtube. What do you guys think?

My head moves JD but I got no lights in it.

I use the Chauvet intimidator 250 LED, only 12lbs and a good light, I have four of them. I use a program name d-pro to control them.
I have a pair of scans intimidator 200LED that I rig directly above my L1, very practical.

I also purchased the Chauvet intimidator 250 LED, will use two of them for the first time this weekend, a wedding at Niagra On The Lake. I’ll run them on ShowXpress software.
I considered the Intimidator Spot Duo, they look very convenient to set-up and price is reasonable. They don’t have an internal prism to split the beam (so there is less coverage on the floor) and the LED’s are 25 watts per fixture vs. 40 watts with the 250 LED.
I’ll let you know how it goes at the wedding…
Hey JD - I use heads from a company called showtec. They are the phantom 250msd. Great solid head. Here is a link to a 21’st I did earlier in the year…

I went with two barrel scanners instead (ADJ INNO ROLL) they are sweet!
