I found cheap airfare to LA so I decided to take Peter Merry’s 2-day seminar “The Professional Process”. I’m a big fan of Merry and this will probably be the only chance I will have to attend his 2 day. And the price was incredible to boot, almost half the price for the same seminar in TN.
BTW, Merry is also an L1 user.

The purpose of my thread is to see if any fellow Bose owners will attend. I did the same thing with the MBLV convention. I always seek opportunities to meet face to face the people who have been so helpful to me here on the L1 Forum. I hope we will someday have a chance to meet. If Bose starts doing seminars again, that might happen.
Without getting into the issues, I understand your position and probably agree more than not.
That said, Peter is (IMHO) the industry expert on wedding entertainment, marketing, planning, innovation and more. That’s 90% of my business so a 16-hour seminar with the resident expert for less than 500 bucks should be worth every penny.

I went to a 1 day seminar Peter did here in Pittsburgh a month or two back. It was a good class, but I am sure I would have learned more in a two day class.
It seems that most of what I’ve been doing for marketing is the same Peter is doing. . . Good for me.

I’ve already taken it. It was great.
I have only had the opportunity to see Peter once at MBLV and on his DVD’s. This will be the first and probably only time I will be able to do one of his full-length seminars. They say you can’t teach an old dog new tricks but I’m expecting to absorb something over 2 days.

I would love to attend in California, but I have Mitch Taylor coming into town on the 6th, so I have to pass.
I believe Peter is bringing the Professional Process to the Northeast this summer, in which case I will be attending.
I am also attending a Mark Ferrell workshop in June, so it’s turning into a year of education for me
