Hi, all - Not sure where to best post this question. At my last gig someone bent or stepped on the back panel cover on my L1 Classic and broke off one of the 2 plastic tabs/hinges that holds it in place so now the cover won’t stay on even when I want to latch it closed. The little piece is gone so I can’t try superglueing it back on. I’m working on selling the unit to my church so I can buy an L1 Compact but am feeling badly about the damage. Any suggestions for fixes on this, or have others had this happen and it’s just not that big of a deal?
Hi Rebecca,
I finally took the back flaps off my Classics. Hasn’t been a problem.
But why not call L1® Support and see if they can set you up. The call is free.

Thanks, ST… I was about to give this update: turns out I did save the little plastic piece that broke off (was in the zipper pocket w/ the panel cover) and I superglued it back together; it should hold as long as it’s treated gently. The people I’m selling it to may decide just to take it off as you did… I’m glad you told me you’ve been working without. Either way, I think I’m good now
I had the same problem and called the Bose support line. I bought a new cover for $35 and some new knobs for the remote for like 50 cents each. Worth it!
