Set up issue with T1 and wireless remote

Lately, I have had a run of weddings where I have needed wireless remote speakers. I am running the following setup for weddings:

1 T1 ToneMatch
2 L1 M2 with B2
2 L1 M1s with B1
1 Denon DN-MC6000
1 Behringer mixer
1 Alto Stealth Wireless system

T1 Inputs = Ch 4/5 from the DN-MC6000, Ch 1 from a Sennheiser wired mic, and Ch 3 from a Shure wireless mic

I run 1 M2 via the ToneMatch cable, and the second M2 from the Master output on the T1 via 1/4" to 1/4".

I run the small Behringer mixer from the Aux output on the T1, and this mixer goes to my wireless.

I have Aux output configured for Ch 4/5

Because my mics are not hitting Ch 4/5, my Aux output does not capture the mic to my wireless speakers.

Any ideas on how to address? I’ve thought about running the wired mic through the Denon, but I love the sound quality on the mics through the T1.

Hi ajb,

On the T1, Channels 1 and 3 - enable the Aux output.

Set the tap point to Post. Set the Level to 50%.

You’ll have to experiment with to see whether you prefer the top point as Pre or Post. I think you’ll probably prefer Post because then, as you turn the Channel Volume controls it will affect the sound going to the wireless setup.

You’ll have to experiment with the Level to set the volume for each microphone relative to the sound from your Denon DXN-MC6000

Here are some detailed notes about setting up Aux. (Click the picture below).

Does that help?

Thanks ST. I understood that the Aux output was channel specific, and that I needed to choose which channel went to that output. But what you are telling me is that I can have multiple channels directed to the Aux output, which a) makes sense and b) makes me happy!

Hi ajb,

Yes, you can have more than one T1 channel directed to the Aux output.

Please let us know how that works out for you.

Thanks!
