I'm a retired full time one-man band musician now doing small gigs with karaoke arrangements. I NOW use the Bose S1 Pro as my Bluetooth and mike input branching out to a 200 watts sub crossovered to an 260 watts Alto 10" or 2. Impressed by the easy setup, I almost bought the Bose L1 Model 1S with the B1 Bass module due to the easy and rapid installation but since there is no EQ and it's REALLY expensive, I'm not sure.
I'm trying to reduce setup time drastically and want to eliminate subwoofers and speaker stands and wires, etc and use my S1 Pro's mixer and line out to : the Bose L1 Model 1S with the B1 Bass module WITHOUT any other mixer. I tried an L1 compact the other day and found the sound impressive but I think the Model 1S would be better in case it's a bigger gig. My ONLY problem is that since there is no equalization other that what the S1 Pro sends it and it's too bassy, not like my actual ...can't simply lower the volume.
