I'm in Michigan, only one of my subs has this issue..... I'm also having an issue w/ the F1 tops, upper magnet not holding, when trying to use in reverse J which I don't do all that often.

this sub is new or used ?
New
may be rubber from 10" cones. it looks like pre-aged. Or residuals from packaging ?
it appears only on the grid ? or the drivers are damaged
It is actually on the cones themselves. I don't want to take the cage off, I noticed when I sat side by side for for a show we were doing. Definitely a difference between one sub and the other. Still produces sound as to what extent if any, is sound degraded I have yet to check. I plan on giving Bose a call today as suggested earlier.
