T1 to L1 Connection

I have a T1 unit and L1 Model II. I use the standard cable that came with it to connect the units together. It appears to be a standard Cat 5 cable with an RJ45 on each end. In a pinch, could as standard Cat 5 cable work in the event that my existing cable were to fail? Thanks. Frankie G.

Yes, in a pinch you can use a standard ethernet Cat5 cable to link the T1 and the power stand together. You would want to be mindful that the connection points are not as robust as the Ethercon connection but it would definitely work.

Thanks Joe… I guess I could also consider purchasing another Bose Ethercon cable. Can I assume that Guitar Center sells them as a individual item? I don’t recall seeing them. Thanks again… Frankie G.
