Hi,
Trim 2 on my tonematch lighting red when I switch it on then disappear after configurations are loaded in the display. There is no input on that channel, is that a warning or what?

I think I understand the problem. The tonematch has no enough energy to load data’s/configurations in the display it takes to long, that’s why it gives red light on trim 2 then after the data’s/ configurations are loaded the red light disappears but what I don’t understand is why the red light only on trim 2 not 1 or the rest? can somebody explain?
I’ve been using multiple T1® Tonematch Engines for awhile now, and have never experienced this situation on any channels of my units. Since you have no input plugged into that channel, I suspect you have some sort of short circuit occurring in your unit and I would do as ST suggests…call Bose® Product and Technical Support to at least discuss the situation with them. Your T1® may still be under warranty. Hope you get to the bottom of this and GOOD LUCK!
Hi ST & JohnNell,
Thank you very much for your advice indeed there was a defect and fixed by Bose, the red lamp is now no more!
They have replaced/repaired “main pcb assy t1 sienna” I don’t know what it is, I had this tonematch since four months a go and now I hope it is solved for ever.
XL,
Thanks for sharing. Glad it’s fixed.
Question for you: Was channel 2 functional for you while the light was showing red?
