I’ve had an AudioTechnica for many years. Worked great for the most part. Had to be recalibrated a couple times. However it is RACKMOUNTED, and would be a clumsy / sloppy stage presence to have the half width metal box w/ antennaes on the ground next to the L1. Any cool newer products people dig?

I will vote for the CROWN headset everyday Crown Headset
Hi Mark,
Sorry I can’t add anything new about wireless microphones. When I run wireless,I’m using the same old Shure gear - analog. It’s fine for those occasions when I feel like setting up wireless but I don’t need to do that very often. That’s probably why I haven’t updated my gear.
I agree with Roy, the Crown Headset CM-311A is a great sounding microphone.
Hey Mark,
Just wondering what you have came up with?
It’s been so long; I’d forgotten about this thread. I contacted AudioTechnica, and got the impression that my ATW35 (think that’s the model #) and the headset I have are probably still pretty good quality by today’s standards. They aren’t convenient to plug into my L1; I took them off the rackmount PA/amp I have, and am hoping to try them out first time this weekend. I might either make a small cabinet/carry case for them in my woodshop and use them more in the future, or I might sell them and upgrade to a newer unit.
Keep me posted on any finer products you discover for wireless performance w/ guitar/vocal.
Thanks,
Mark
