4 compacts in stereo (left left - right right?)

I have a gig next week where I am going to try 4 compacts across the room from me.

2 on one side of the head table and 2 on the other side of the head table.

all about 15-20 feet separation…if I am running in stereo should I go left right left right…or should I have them left left and right right?

i am curious to know the correct answer to this as well

2 on one side of the head table and 2 on the other side of the head table

When you say this do you mean that the two on each side will be right next to each other or that the two on each side will themselves be sperated by a number of feet? I think the answer depends on which scenerio you are speaking of. I would think that if they are going to be right next to each other (on each side of the head table) then you would use as you described (left-left & right-right)

Ok, I missed this...Are you talking about the seperation between the 2 ends of the head table or between the set of compacts on each end of the head table?
Sorry I didn't include this question in my first post.

the compacts would be separated on each side of the table…

so one compact on the ends of the head table…and then 1 compact in the corners of the room…so probably a good 20 feet between each compact

In that case, I would run them as 2 sets of stereo, or as you said-left-right and left-right.

Here’s a visual and audio example of exactly how four Compacts work (one left front, one left rear, one right front, one right rear)…and…FABULOUSLY!
