Hi,
I bought a condo and the seller left the Bose Accoustimass 16. It’s a great system. Problem I’m having is Rear Left speaker is out. All others fine. I determined the problem is with the module it’s plugged into and not wire or speaker.
Any suggestions?
I would first check eBay and see if you can find a replacment for the defective unit. Check Bose Support for your location and get a quote for repair. You would also have to pay freight to and from Bose. Depending on what you find, it might be time to retire that old system and sell the speaker cubes on eBay. You might also find a working Bose Acoustimass module on eBay that you could pick up and use some of your cubes as a speaker system for a 3rd party receiver.
