Add more bass power to my L1 Model 1S system

Hello everyone,

i bought two L1 Model 1S B2. I usually play on weddings or local corporate party’s as a DJ. Mostly the bass power of the two b2 is enough. But sometimes i could use a little more. And i cannot attach another b2 to my L1 Model 1S. So my question is how I could ideally set up my system with an external active sub.  A friend of mine offers me a tonematch t4s for sale which I could buy.

Hi, Wolkenfeuer.

I was just looking at your other discussion Tonematch useful for my uses?

I see your source is a Native Instruments Traktor S4

You could get the T4S ToneMatch mixer.

  • Connect the Traktor Left and Right outputs to the T4S channels 1 and 2. Pan these Left and Right
  • Use the T4S ToneMatch Presets and zEQ to enhance the sound from the Traktor
  • Connect the T4S ToneMatch outputs (these are digital) to your L1 Model 1S systems

  • Connect the T4S main outputs (these are analog) to your active subwoofer (if it accepts dual inputs)
    or
  • In the T4S create a mono send through one of the Aux outputs
    • Send the Aux output to the active subwoofer

OR

Use the Traktor Booth outputs and connect those to an active subwoofer.

Does that help?
