Adding Speakers to Bose Soundtouch 300 Soundbar System

Hey guys-I have a question I was hoping others could advise or answer for me. I currently have the Soundtouch 300 Soundbar with the 300 Bass Module and the rear speakers as well. I was wondering is it possible to also add the Bose Surround Speakers 700 to this setup? In other words, having the sounder, the bass module, the rear speakers and the Surround Speakers 700 in the front? What other options are available to build out/add to the Soundtouch 300 Soundbar? I love my current setup, but was just wondering if there was even more I could possibly build on top of what I already have? Any assistance is greatly appreciated!

All the best,

Matt

The simple answer is no. The system doesn't support 2 pairs of surround speakers being connected and hence making it a 7.1 system.

You only have the choice between either of them, the VI300, or the surround 700, not both at the same time.

Thank you for the response-that is too bad! I guess my next question is are the 700 series surround "better" than the Virtually Invisible (VI 300) rears that I currently have? If so, how exactly?

Well some say so and so. there is a yt video by jb techfanatic where he is demoing both the vi300 and compares it to the 700. but to be honest it is a bit hard to tell by listening to a yt video.. I'll stick with my vi300 as i am satisfied and also the 700s are bit too pricey for rears if you ask me.

Thank you for your input!
