I’ve got a connection for inexpensive L1 Model 1S. Our input needs are here: We need inputs for 3 vocal mics, 1 kick drum mic, 1 line in for my guitar pedal(looking to do away with the guitar amp), one line in from sax player’s submixer which includes his vocal mic, sax mic, and two keyboard. I could possibly do the same as the sax player, putting my vocal mic with my guitar line in my own submixer.
Is it way over the top to try to put this all through one L1 Model 1S? Bassplayer will be using his own amp, and the rest of the drums will not be mic’d.
Hi Mike,
The Model 1S is rated for up to 300 people in an audience, regardless of how big the mix is. The three vocal mics, kick drum mic, guitar pedal and sax submix should work well! Keep in mind the 1S has a single line level input so a mixer will certainly be required.
Thanks,
