I currently have a subscription to Apple Music through my android phone. I assumed wrongly that I could either set apple music as the default music app on the Bose home speaker or set it up through alexa. It seems that the only way is through Airplay which you need an ios device.
Are there any plans to update the software in the future to allow Apple to run on this device?

We do not have any information in regards to the integration of Apple Music at this time, but we will be sure to inform the community if this is something that will become available. For now, I would recommend in using a Bluetooth connection so you can enjoy using Apple Music.
