Bands in St. Louis?

Any bands using the Bose L1 solution in the St. Louis, MO area? Several people I know wish to hear a live performance using htese systems as designed - one L1 per musician.

Hello,

My name is Gene Operle. I am a solo singer-songwriter-guitarist who plays in the St. Louis area.

This Saturday evening, I will be playing (using the Bose system) at Border’s Books & Music in Creve Coeur (Olive Road, just east of 270), from 8-10PM.

I have been using the Bose system for about 1 year and 3 months. I absolutely love it! All things being equal, I think that it offers a competitive advantage to a musician in the marketplace.

BTW, I am the regional rep for the Bose L1 system responsible for the St. Louis area. I have a memory that we may have met at the Guitar Center last year. Do you recall such a meeting? Or maybe I am imagining things. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey. I will be getting 3 single bass systems the week of April 3 06 and will be using them on Sunday mornings at our church in O’Fallon. Anyone is welcome to come and check them out. We have keys, drums, bass, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, sax, trumpet, vox and backing vox. Hope to see you.

Hi Scott,
Are you going to be plugging in directly to the PS1s or using a mixer with sub-mixes for each system?

We are going to be plugging directly in to the systems. About 3 people per system. So my keys, backing vox and trumpet will be on the far left. My(lead vox) bass and e guitar will be center and my drummer and acoustic guitar player will be far right. They will be plugged in where they are located. We will also then be running any other stuff like audio from video, cd’s, lavalier mics for the pastor or dramas through a sound board and into the center PAS unit.

Hi Mark,

We are a trio using two systems. However, I could borrow a third from one of my local friends for a gig on May 6th at The Easy Street Lounge in Jacksonville, IL., about 1-1/2 hours from St. Louis.

We are playing there tonight, but I made no provisions for a third system.

We would be glad to let your interested parties sit in. I have a mic’d Pearl drumkit that I can switch around for a right hander. We have PODXT live for guitar, and Bass POD for the bass.

I don’t know if this is too far for them to travel, but I thought I would throw in. They would have to let me know in advance, so I can bring 3 systems.
