Batter life is only 3 hours instead of the promissed 11 hours

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce

I just bought the S1 Pro System and had my first DJ gig and the battery was fleshing red within 3 hours. So is the battery draining too fast? I took the battery out put it back again and will try again this weekend but very disappointed so far.

 

What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)

 

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?

Disclaimer:  I am not a Bose employee, and I do not own an S1 Pro.  I do have lots of other Bose gear.

 

While the S1 Pro does indicate "up to 11 hours" in the manual, that is an optimum, best-case scenario number.  To me, the key words are "up to", in ideal conditions with quiet background music with a freshly-charged battery.  Actual performance is based on a number of factors, primarily the volume and type of music.  Running full volume, battery life can easily be as short (or possibly shorter than) three hours.  Half volume should last 5-6 hours; less than half volume, even longer.  The type of music being played can be a major influence as well.
