Battery/Inverter to power L1 system

Hi,

Thinking of doing some Busking where there may be no mains power supply.

Can the L1 be safely powered by a battery/inverter ?

Hello,

Inverters can be used with the L1 systems, however they are not generally recommended for the L1 model II or model 1S as we would not be able to guarantee how long it would perform for, since different batteries would have varying amounts of charge.

If you need to use one, make sure it has a modified sine-wave output.

Your best bet would be to use an inverter with it's own power supply, and one hefty enough to provide at least 1000 Watts (750W for model 1S)  for 3 hours. 120v AC @ 60 Hz, modified sine-wave output capable of up to 15 Amps peak inrush current per unit.

A better recommendation would be to use a generator with modified sine-wave output with similar specifications.
