Adam hopefully this info on S1 Pro Update will help.

If you are using the wireless way via Bluetooth to update the S1, you’re better off going wired from a computer to the S1. Furthermore, I would hardwire the computer to your Internet as well since the files being downloaded can be rather large for a wireless connection which can take forever.

As for the Bose S1 hard wiring them for the updates, where can I find the download online to their updates (Sorry for my ignorance on this, I'm rather new to Bose) and yes, I believe the hard wired update would be easier, is there an online app for this or something that we run from our PC's?
