Bose 700 Charging Case Additional 40 Hours

Hi everyone,

 

I have the Bose 700 charging case and cannot charge my headphones past 20 hours (Normal full charge) even though the case proclaims you gain an additional 40 hours of charge time. 

 

The recent firmware upgrade (1.7.0) resolved the battery life issue and shows a charge of 20 hours but I bought the case in hopes of gaining the additional charge time. Any thoughts? The case is fully charged and I have tried charging the case and headphones simultaneously while plugged into my PC.

What you are experiencing is normal. The application won't show a 40 hour charge for your headphones as the headphones only have a 20 hour capacity with a Bluetooth connection. The charging case provides an additional 40 hours of charge, an additional two full charges when connected.

To clarify, the case simply provides 2 extra 20 hour charges (40 hours total) for the headphones but does not increase the wireless battery life?
