Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce
Bose App never detected the device, but was able to connect to my TV via OPTICAL input and was working fine. But, a couple of months before the soundbar started displaying white light slide from left to right when connected to power. I tried all the instructions posted in the forum to clear remote pairing, tried disconnecting my router and unpairing but could not get the amber display and was always white light slide from left to right.
Finally, I tried connecting my soundbar to my router via Ethernet cable, the device got connected to my network and was able to get to the point where the BOSE APP displayed an instruction for "connecting your soundbar 700", but still the same white light slide from left to right and the App could not detect the device.
I disconnected the sounder from my router, turned off the power and tried connecting again after a few minutes. Now, I don't see the white light slide from left to right, instead see a stable red light with no response. Bose App still doesn't detect the device and is not working.
What environment do you experience the issue in? (e.g. noisy office, quiet kitchen, etc.)
Living Room
When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously?
Couple of months before. Prior to that, was able to connect the soundbar via OPTICAL INPUT.
Any troubleshooting steps you took
I followed all the instructions from the fourm, unpairing with router on, unpairing with router off and then tried connecting to Router via Ethernet cable
