New Features

Find My Buds (SoundSport Free): This Bose ® Connect App includes a feature called “find my buds” which helps customer locate their Bose SoundSport Free wireless headphones. This includes the ability to play audible chirping tones from the earbuds as well as a display of the ear bud location on-screen in the app.

Call Alerts (SoundWear Companion): In addition to the ability to pass through ringtones and audio alerts from the connected phone (standard Bluetooth behavior), the product includes haptic feedback through vibrations. Users can elect to have both the vibration and audible ring tone active at the same time or they can choose between vibration or ring modes only. These settings can be adjusted within the Connect App.

Bass Control (SoundWear Companion): The settings menu includes a bass cut feature to help improve the clarity of dialog.

Google Assistant (QuietComfort 35 II): The default setting for the new “Action” button on the left earcup is to toggle between Off, Low and High noise cancellation modes. In regions where Google Assistant is available customers can use the Bose Connect App to assign this button to activate the Google Assistant.

Party and Stereo Modes (SoundLink Micro, SoundLink Color II, SoundLink Revolve, SoundLink Revolve ): The existing Party and Stereo mode features for Revolve and Revolve are expanded to include SoundLink Micro and SoundLink Color II. Party/Stereo mode operation for newly compatible speakers is identical to that of Revolve and Revolve .

Note that the SoundLink Color II will require a firmware update (2.1.7) to enable Party and Stereo mode functionality.

Party and Stereo mode pairings can be created between any of the compatible products, such as a Micro paired to a Revolve.
