On Thursday, May 31st, 2018 a new update for the Bose Connect App (6.1) will be available through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Most notably, this release includes added support for the Bose S1 Pro all-in-one PA system. Customers will be able to name, control and update their S1 Pro through the app, as well as enter Party and Stereo modes with another S1 Pro. See additional details below:

- The S1 Pro will require FW version 7.0.10 or higher to enable Bose Connect Support.
- S1 Pro Firmware can be downloaded and installed at BTU.Bose.com. It will require connecting the S1 Pro to a Mac or PC using a USB cable. Note that this USB-based update must be performed before the product can be used with Bose Connect.
