Bose connect app for S1 Pro to Apple iPad Air gen3

Have tried several times including deleting the Bose Connect app on the iPad Air gen 3 and also hard resets but no luck pairing with the app. Bluetooth connection via iPad to the S1 Pro is no issues at all. Any suggestions please.
