Bose Connect pairing two S1 Pro systems

Mentioning the Bose Connect App, does anyone else find that connecting a second S1  is not an exact science?  Sometimes, they connect up no problem, sometimes you have to really work at it to get them both paired and working with the app.  This morning, I had to keep turning the S1s off/on, putting the S1s in pair mode and retrying with the app, etc.  After 4 or 5 tries, it finally linked the 2 S1s together and worked fine.    Perhaps there's something that I'm doing incorrectly but whatever it is, I do it the same every time and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  When trying to link the speakers, the app has a button for "find another speaker".  I  press that and it doesn't even find the other S1.  There's an icon for other speakers that flips through pics of speakers that I don't have...occasionally, the list will include an S1 but that doesn't seem to make a difference.

Hi KingBiscuit,

I run my two S1 Pro systems with the Bose Connect frequently. The one thing that tends to get in the way for me, is if I have connected to one or both of the S1 Pro systems with another Bluetooth device (not the one running the Bose Connect app).

  • You can try clearing all the connections and pairings.
  • Make sure all Bluetooth devices are off or disabled.
  • Enable Bluetooth on the device on which you are running Bose Connect.
  • Pair that device with the two S1 Pro systems.
  • Use Bose Connect to set up Party Mode or Stereo Mode

Does that help?

No matter what I did my phone would not connect using the Bose Connect App. I installed it on my iPad and it suddenly works! Lol
