Bose F1 Model 812 Mounting on Gym Wall

I'm thinking about mounting two of these in a gym facing bleachers.  The gym is approximately 101x75x28.  I'm planning on spacing the speaker about 30' apart from center court.  When aiming the speaker what is the center?  Does it change when in straight, J, Reverse J or C?  To keep the sound off the wall and stage for events that require a stage I'm wanting to go reverse J.  For all other event I would go with C to give more coverage on the floor.  How even is the coverage from the center to the edge?  I'm guessing the speakers will be about 25' on the wall.

Hello,

A non-techie teacher here. I'm trying to make everything ready for the German speaking conference at our school. I thought Bose F1 Model 812 could be good for our gym size. Will one F1 with sub be enough? Should I mount it on the wall?

Thank you,

Stefan

Hey weaverra,

Welcome to the forum, thank you for joining us! The speaker drivers in the F1 can be seen in this diagram, with the driver cones fixed down the centre:

If the speakers are mounted 25 ft on the wall, I recommend pushing in the speaker array panels at the bottom so that sound can be dispersed downwards.

Hope this has helped!

Hi Albrecht,

Welcome to the forum, thanks for your post!

What size is the room you plan to use the F1 812 in?
