Bose L1 Pro Channel 3 multiple sources

I have found this in the FAQ of the Bose L1 Pro systems:

"When connecting multiple sources to Channel 3, adjust the input source volumes for mixing within that channel, and use Channel 3 volume control for overall volume level."

So does this mean channel 3 can be used for guitar in the 1/4 inch and backing tracks in the 1/8 inch? Without any compression?

This would make using the Pro systems with my duo perfect as it basically makes it a 4 channel mixer!

Can anyone confirm this?

Hi Lew1994,

Welcome to the forum!

That's correct, you can use the 1/4" and 1/8" inputs on channel 3 simultaneously, giving you a total of 4 available inputs.

The channel 3 volume control would increase/decrease the levels of both the guitar and backing track together. If you want to change the volume on either of these separately, it would need to be adjusted on the source itself.

Hope this helps!

Okay fantastic!

Also would the Bluetooth on channel 3 be additional to the guitar - 1/4" and backing tracks - 1/8"? So a potential 5 inputs?

Hey Lew1994,

Yep, Bluetooth can also be used simultaneously with the 1/4" and 1/8" inputs on channel 3. The same principle applies, however - there would be no way to control the volume individually for these inputs on the L1 Pro system, it must be done on the source itself.
