I’m purchased aMackie DL1608. Need to know what cable is needed to hook it up to my bose l1 s1 system it seems to work great but there was a faint hi pitch type of Hum in the background when not playing anything and all faders turned down

Thanks for reaching out to us. I have a few follow up questions that might help us come to a resolution here.
Are both the Mackie and L1M1s connected to the same outlet? Have you tried connecting them both to an entirely different circuit? Doing this can help isolate ground loop issues.
How is the main output of your Mackie connected to the L1 powerstand? Since the L1 is mono what I would be doing is connecting the left XLR output to the powerstand via a balanced XLR to 1/4" TRS cable.
I would advise against using a combiner to send both the left and right outs to the powerstand because that changes the impedance seen by the mixer and can create artifacts like the one your describing and may damage the outputs of your Mackie if left like this long term.
