Bose Lifestyle 650 - Barely can hear back speakers - How can I increase their relative volume?

Hi,

Bose Lifestyle 650: I can barely can hear the back speakers relative to the front ones - How can I increase their relative volume? What is the right setting? Thanks.

Hey , thanks for posting!

I'm sorry that you're having some difficulty with the levels of the rear surround speakers for your Lifestyle 650. Have you been through the ADAPTiQ calibration process? If not, please see HERE for information on how to do this.

Should you still wish to increase the volume of the rear speakers, follow the steps below:

  1. On the remote control, press the MORE button to view the menu on the remote display
  2. Scroll up or down to select AV Settings, then press the OK button
  3. Select System AV Settings
  4. Select Surround
  5. Scroll left or right to select a setting
  6. Wait 10 seconds for the menu to exit.

Let me know if there is anything else we can help with.

Can you please give me more details about the settings I should use in step 5:

"

  1. Scroll left or right to select a setting"

Thanks.

So you scroll left or right to change the volume of the rear speakers. (options: -10 to 6)

You may find it useful to have a look at the settings breakdown HERE.

Let me know if you need further help with this.
