They're great when I'm sitting in a chair, but if I try to walk around, grab something to drink out of the fridge and lean down, the band falls forward and the headphones generally try to fall off of my head.
Now I do have a smaller head, but I LOVED the QC-25's and never had an issue with this pair falling off my head even in pretty crazy tilts, etc.
I think it's the smooth, slick band on the 700's.

Yes they fall off my head too. Very good noise cancelling but very very slippery. I'm thinking of returning them.
They fall every time off my head as well when I lean back on my chair. It's very annoying especially because I lean back to focus on something and this completely breaks my attention to the subject.
I have the same problem - just bought it - the headphone keep falling down when I move around. Very annoying for such an expensive device. Does it get better when the band is a bit more used or is there anything we can do to increase stability ?
I have the same issue with over-the-ear Logitech headphones. So it isn’t a brand issue. We need some kind of strap across the back of the head between the cups that keeps heavy (but comfortable) over the ear headphones on our heads when we lean forward. As for reclining back, well, I don’t do that often and certainly not while walking around - but leaning forward on a task or to pick up something is very common. Perhaps some creative at Etsy has stitched together some kind of comfortable strap?
OMG I tried to use it at gym on a 30 degree incline bench and it just fell back to the chair lol
I’ve just purchased these and was so excited - they sound amazing and I love the controls on the ear pieces, but unfortunately, they also fall off my head when lying down or leaning back. I will go back to the store and (properly) test the QC35 to see the difference. Truly disappointed...
I had this problem on the flight and when lying down too.
The only way to resolve this is to tighten the grip, basically, lift 'your ears' closing to the head.
It's not a headset that allows a lot of head movement and angle.
Guess the engineers wanted the headset to be comfortable on your head and ears for long hours of wear. The comfort is also one of the key reasons why I bought this cup.
Sound-wise, its worth its weight in gold.
