Hi. Looking to simultaneously stream music and play bass guitar through S1 Pro to learn by ear. Is this possible? Noone answering at Bose customer service....
The S1Pro doesn't have BT output, so it will not connect to the 700 headphones.
You could technically stream your music from a BT device to the S1 pro, while also having the guitar plugged in, but there could be audio lag (I haven't had as much experience with the S1pro). If this is what you wanted to do, you may be better plugging in the BT device into the Aux input while the guitar is plugged into another input.
Hey drea,
Welcome to the forum! As Morlock mentions, the S1 Pro has no way of outputting audio via Bluetooth, so you would not be able to wirelessly connect the Noise Cancelling 700s.
To simultaneously stream music and play bass guitar, you can:
- connect a bass guitar with 1/4" jack to input 1 or 2.
- connect your music-streaming device to input 3 via Bluetooth, or using an AUX cable.
Hope this helps!
What I have done is buy a Bluetooth unit so the LINE OUT on the S1 Pro goes into a little box, which then sends bluetooth to your headphones or any other bluetooth device. If you get one that has APtx LL, there is no delay. I can watch a movie with perfect sync, but it ha to be Aptx LL. Check out Avantree.
