What devices were you using that were affected iPhone X on iOS14

Detailed description of the issue and steps to reproduce.
I had to change my Wi-Fi name and password. I attempted to change my password with the Bose sound bar and have now resulted in deleting it from my Bose app and the remote control is not pairing with the sound bar. This prevents me from turning the sound bar into discovery mode to re-initiate communication with the app.

What environment do you experience the issue in? N/a

When did you start to experience the issue? Did it work correctly previously? The sound bar was connected properly for close to a year and only cause a problem when I try to change the Wi-Fi.

Any troubleshooting steps you took

Hi Maverick28409,

Thanks for reaching out!

I recommend checking this thread for instructions on re-associating the remote with the soundbar.

This link gives you instructions to correctly factory resetting the system to ready it for your new network.

I hope this helps! Please be sure to let us know how you get on.

Nailed it. Thank you.
I am back up and running. Have a nice day.

Hi There,

My Bose 700 system was all set up and connected well and calibrated  - sounded brilliant. I have the bose 700 front speakers, rear speakers, and Bose 700 subwoofer.
I have issues now. When I go to the BOSE APP it's not turned on Bluetooth. If I click to connect the sound on the speakers turns off. So what's happening is when the Bluetooth is off the sound on the speaker works but when I connect the Bose APP on Bluetooth it switches off. Before it was all connected correctly as the Bose App was ON in Bluetooth. Please help. How do I reset it all like before as the sound works with best quality? Thanks again for your help. Cheers TG

Hey tgeorge,

I'm pleased to hear you're loving your Soundbar 700 system so far! When you open the Bose Music app, it will continue to play your music if you are connected via Bluetooth, and the app will state this. Is this not the case for you?

When playing through Bluetooth, the app will still give you the option to switch sources to AUX or AirPlay. If you choose to play music directly through Bose Music app, this will switch the source of your Soundbar 700 from Bluetooth to WiFi Streaming.

To perform a product reset, simply disconnect the soundbar from power for two minutes. Also, it may be beneficial to rebooting your WiFi router by disconnecting it from power for two minutes. Give both of these steps a try, and let us know if things improve!
