I have the Bose over the ear headphones. Synched via Bluetooth to my iPhone 11. Whom ever I am speaking with on the phone is hearing their voice in their speaker while they are talking.
this is not an issue when using speaker or actual iPhone.
Thank you for taking the time to post and welcome to the Bose Community.
I'm sorry to hear you're encountering call issues, especially with voice echo when talking to people. This shouldn't be happening and I want to help you with this.
Firstly, could you clarify the headphones you own? Are they part of the QuietComfort range or the SoundLink range? Also, have you tried using the headphones with any other mobile devices for calls and if so, did you notice the same issue?
I would recommend clearing the Bluetooth pairing on your headphones and source device then reconnecting. To clear the list, push the switch to the Bluetooth symbol on your headphones and wait for 10 seconds. Once clearing the pairing on both devices is complete, re-connect and then test.
My son just bought me Soundlink headphones for my birthday and I am experiencing the same issue. I used the headphones with my new Samsung S10 and my laptop, the echo occurs with both devices. I've tried the unpairing as suggested above, but the problem persists. If I there is no solution, I will be forced to return them as they are unusable with the echo.
I do have the same problem. I have SoundLink Around-Ear Wireless Headphone II.
I tried pairing with different phones and it is still the same problem. The other person can hear their own echo. Tried clearing down Bluetooth settings and re-paired but no luck.
, thanks for getting back to us. I would love to help. Is it just the caller on the other end hearing an echo of their own voice or is it a caller on the other end hearing an echo of your voice? The troubleshooting you have tried so far is great. Can I please confirm if this is with all callers or just calling a specific person?
My brand new headphones are having the same problem. Three people told me they hear an echo on their end. It is happening on the other persons end but I don't hear the echo in my headset.
