I want to buy a new cd player (Yamaha) which has RCA (phono) plugs for output. Can I directly plug this into the 3.5mm jack AUX input on the back of a Soundtouch 30 wireless speaker and use the Soundtouch as a speaker for my system? There is no intermediate amplifier - only the cd player output phonos.

This isn't something that I have personally tested, however as this is a 3.5mm connection you should be able to do this.
If anyone else in the Community is able to verify if this exact set-up does or doesn't work this would be very helpful!
