Cannot hear sound in surround speakers when playing sound test videos on youtube

Hello

i am having acoustimass 10 series V

i cannot hear the effects from the surround speakers when u play bose audio test 5.1 videos from video…

Sound which is supposed to come from surround speakers come from front left or right speakers….

i tried hundreds of videos to test but never got sound from surround speakers.

while watching Netflix , prime u do hear proper effects but only during 5.1 audio testing u dont get sound..

 

any suggestions please

And you never will until YouTube supports surround sound. YouTube still does not support 5.1 as every audio source there is still standard 2.0. Even the 5.1 audio test mixes, if you download them onto a computer & check the media info, they are still 2.0. Even the original series that they have to offer there are in stereo.
