Connect Not-Bose Headphones to Home Speaker 300

Hey together. I'm thinking about to buy a Bose Home Speaker 300. My plan is to use it as the central device in my small flat. In case I can't hear loud music, I would like to connect my headphones and in case I want to sit outside, I would like to connect a Bluetooth Speaker (not from Bose as I'm a new customer and can't buy everything at one time). It seems that I can only pair Bose Devices to the Home Speaker. Is that right? Is it not possible to connect Bluetooth Speaker/Headphones from other brands?

Es freut mich zu hören, dass du Interesse an dem Home Speaker 300 hast.

 

Über die SimpleSync Funktion der App kannst du Bluetooth Lautsprecher und Kopfhörer mit deinem Gerät koppeln.

 

Offiziell gehen nur Bose eigene Produkte, jedoch habe ich schon davon gehört, dass die App auch andere Geräte aufzeigt.

 

Du kannst es ja gerne einmal testen.

Sollte dir der Lautsprecher nicht gefallen, kannst du ihn innerhalb der 90 Tage zurückgeben.

I'm glad to hear you're interested in the Home Speaker 300.

 

You can pair Bluetooth speakers and headphones with your device using the SimpleSync feature in the app.

 

Officially, only Bose's own products work, but I have heard that the app also shows other devices.

 

You're welcome to try it out.

If you don't like the speaker, you can return it within 90 days.

Nope, unfortunately it does not work (at least for the Portable Home Speaker). I can't see my Non-Bose Bluetooth Headphones in the list of available devices... (I selected my device -> Group Speaker -> Connect new (SimpleSync))

the SimpleSync feature was created for Bose products.

 

There has been feedback that bluetooth speakers from other brands could also be found in the list.

 

But that was not the intention.
