I have been looking at this digital multi-track recorder and was wondering if that could be used in conjunction with my Tonematch 4s and L1 Compact. I guess the question is whether or not there is a way to incorporate the Tonematch effects into the recorder. Like instrument to tonematch to recorder to amp. Or vice versa.
So if I wanted to do a guitar track on the recorder with the Bose tremelo I could do so, as an example.
The R16 doesn't seem to have inserts so two choices, use the TM4 in mono and send one side to an input channel on the R16 and use the other to drive the L1 Compact or take the out from the R16 into the L1. Either should work fine.

Looking at the Zoom R16 you should be able to connect the instrument to T4S to Zoom R16 to L1 Compact.
Or vice versa.
Or
instrument to T4S to L1 Compact, then L1 Compact Line Out to Zoom R16

Thank you all very much for the responses. I have spent most of my life with unamplified acoustic guitars so these electronic matters can be a bit confusing to me.
