Connecting Bose solo II to the Bose music app

Hello there,

I recently purchased the solo II. I was trying to add it to my Alexa routines but was informed to do it through the Bose Music app. Unfortunately, the Bose music app did not discover my solo II. It also did not show this sound bar in its options for trouble shooting. Any insights on this?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community forums. 

 

I am sorry but the Solo II does not pair with the Bose Music app. The Bose Music app requires WiFi and your system does not have a WiFi connection. Your system does have Bluetooth, so you can pair it with an Echo device as shown here.
