From reading the bulk of these replies, I believe I know the answer to this question but I'd like to ask anyway. I have an older set of Bose Model 101 music monitors that have been wired up to my audio amp for years.
Is there a way to convince the Soundbar 700 to drive these or should I just opt for the Surround Speakers 700 and save a ton of work?

Welcome to the Community, it's awesome to hear that you have a set of Bose 101's.
What you are trying to attempt isn't possible as the 101's aren't compatible with the Soundbar 700, so you won't be able to force this. I'd recommend purchasing a set of Surround Speakers 700 to use with your Soundbar.
